I vastly prefer this. Doing dungeons all on one day is tedious. I wish all of them had forced returns to reality halfway through. P4 would've been improved by this as well.

- Finished Sae's Palace up to the treasure.
- Sojiro, if you need Kindness 5 to continue your confidant, then tell me, why, WHY do you give more kindness points after that?
- Akechi says "lol you can't send the calling card out yet" even though this was the ideal day for me to do so because I had no other confidants to do. Annoying.
- I have no idea how I'd be doing these twin request personas if I couldn't just look up things online. I never have any idea what I'll get when I fuse things, it's all just random to me.

- Did some more Mementos, not realizing that to do Sojiro's request, you need to talk to Futaba first. That was not clear at all.
- Makoto: "I don't want to get used to my outfit." Ann: "I know EXACTLY what you mean." I'm counting that as Ann's turn to talk about her own body. It's just Makoto and Haru who have yet to comment on her, and it's possible I missed a moment.

- tfw you give up on charm 5 for a while, then accidentally get one point and max it out, and realize you could've been doing Makoto's confidant for a while now
- I love sleazy Makoto's friend's boyfriend looks. I refuse to believe any woman finds that look attractive.
- I want to make a joke about Kawakami asking why you're telling her to make lockpicks, but she actually does know you're a Phantom Thief, so never mind.
- Kawakami, I told you to make 13 lockpicks, and you made 7. You'd better not have used up the materials to make the other 6.
- You know, knowing that we're not actually trying to steal Sae's heart, and we're just fooling Akechi, the fact that the upper-right corner instructions explicitly say "Steal Sae Niijima's heart" is cheating by the writers.
- Haru, the only reason I'm taking you up on your offer to watch a movie together is that I ran out of nighttime confidants besides Iwai's absurd "you need 5 guts to continue mine," and the movie raises guts anyway.
- I like how Makoto's confidant is 60% about a girl who is not Makoto, and who has nothing in common with Makoto at all.
- What is Kawakami thinking when I call her to make a lockpick and then play video games in the same room as her for the rest of the night?
- "I can't learn about romance by myself." "I'll be your study partner." Slick, Joker, slick.
- 11/17 and I've gotten everything to rank 5 EXCEPT guts.
- Heheh, this scene where Maruki's and Joker's glasses steam up from the hot food.
- It's so silly that Maruki's confidant is called Councillor. At least call it Vizier or something to sound more Tarot-y.
- Sae gets a calling card, immediately crushes it after reading it. Nice job with that vital evidence, Worst Lawyer on Earth.
- I like how Makoto is not really that surprised or concerned that her sister's shadow is some kind of bondage cleavage goth flapper. Now that I think about it, it would be funny if all of the palace ruler shadows were just way more attractive versions of themselves, I think that would appropriate. Then when Sae turns into her monster form, Makoto doesn't even have a reaction at all.
- You know, the gambling gimmick of the battle was sort of more interesting than the actual normal battle.
- I think I dislike Sae's monster form. If it's a manifestation of her inner frustrations and weaknesses, like Kamoshida's was, then I don't really see it.
- Did Sae even do anything particularly bad so far? "Twisting the truth for your own personal gain?" Am I forgetting something?
- I find it incredibly hard to believe that no one noticed that Joker's former conviction is connected to Shido (Shido just vaguely remembers his name, but none of the cops do?), and that no one noticed Joker's body is missing.
- I'm just going to accept that the cops don't notice Joker's phone still gets messages because of Futaba or something.
- "This country is filled with clueless children..." No it's not, Shido, have you not seen Japan's birthrates?
- You know, with the revelation that Maruki knew you were the Phantom Thieves because he saw you appear out of thin air, it's really more difficult to justify them entering and exiting the Metaverse in front of people. I thought maybe that was a nondiagetic thing, but nope.
- I refuse to believe it took them that long to realize the Diet Building was on a giant cruise ship.
- I don't know if the third semester lets you continue to do confidants, but boy oh boy, I will definitely fail to max them all by 12/25 like in the original version. That time, I failed to max Shinya, Chihaya, and Haru. No clue who I'll fail this time.

Damn, I thought it was impossible to fail to max everyone in Royal. Have you been using Chihaya's power to make it so you never have to meet with someone multiple times to raise their rank?

Missed the part about Sae's palace. Hell yeah, Whims of Fate, my favorite song in the game.

- Yusuke mentions that there's a "womanizing former noble," Ann immediately figures out whose job it will be to deal with him.
- I enjoy how when I reach the pool, a guest tells me to change into swimming trunks, when I already have that exact costume on.
- Stopped after I got to the second set of mouse hallways.
- I checked to see what I still need to do for maxing out confidants, and the number of hangouts I have left, assuming maximum efficiency, is Makoto 1, Haru 7, Yusuke 3, Futaba 2, Iwai 3, Shinya 2, and 1 Mementos clear. I don't think this is happening, and the one I'm most likely to sacrifice is Haru again.

- Why does Cerberus have only one head? Having three heads is like the only thing he's known for.
- I only JUST realized the chaises on the cruise ship are actually a wad of 100K yen bills.

it's a holdover from early games I guess.

like they had to have cerberus as a palette swap of something else due to a lack of memory, and later games kept it as an inside joke or running gag.

though they kept using Nocturne Mara (which was a failed summon) in games instead of its proper design so they're also lazy lol.

Ah, Palace 7, that is a long one. The mouse corridors sometimes seem that they require a bit too much backtracking for their own good.

- I just realized, Shido and Sae both just have normal people in their cognitive worlds. With Sae it was because she was less crazy than the others, but shouldn't Shido see people as like voting ballots or mice or something?
- I just noticed the Will Seed doors say VVIP. Nice.
- This palace is super long. I think I finished the last mouse section, at least.

- I like the fact that Shido has a cleaner who takes care of problems for him... but he also has Akechi. Can never have too many assassins, I suppose.
- Oh my God, they only just realized this guy is the "cleaner" because he assassinates people, they are so stupid. He couldn't possibly look more like a yakuza if he tried.
- I forgot how abruptly Akechi shows up.
- "You're nothing but a little kid throwing a temper tantrum!" Morgana, you left the group because Ryuji gave you 10% of the backtalk you gave him, you are in no position to judge anyone else's maturity.
- "I agree, there's no need for more talking." Akechi then goes on to explain all of his past actions from before he met us.
- Man, Futaba and Haru sure aren't angry at Akechi for killing their parents.
- I refuse to believe Yusuke and Morgana remember an offhand comment from Madarame about the intruder wearing a black mask like six months ago.
- Akechi is finally defeated by the most appropriate person possible: Ann.
- You know, I just realized, it's fine that there were no Cognitive Joker or Ryuji in Kamoshida's Palace, and Yusuke's cognitive version was a painting, Haru was in her father's, and none of the villains knew Futaba even existed... but why did Sae not have a Cognitive Makoto in her palace? It's never even brought up. Actually, wait, the plan to trick Akechi involved the Cognitive Joker in Sae's Palace by tricking him into going there, right? Why did Sae even have a Cognitive Joker? Man, that's a fun idea, having two different palace owners each have a cognitive version of the same person, but they act completely differently. Too bad that never happens.
- "Daruma are often used as symbols of election luck." I'm not going to lie to you, Makoto, I only know them because of Darumaka.
- "Had I not met you all, I may have become like Akechi as well..." Yusuke, what is your basis for that statement? You have done literally nothing Akechi-esque the entire game.
- I like how Sojiro just takes in stride that Joker hangs out with one-eyed ten-year-old girls dressed like prison wardens in shorts. I mean, they're not really ten-year-old girls, but Sojiro doesn't know that.
- "My Futaba Cannon is ready." No, you're Futa-ba, that extra -ba is important!
- I'm fine with Futaba being able to hack all of Tokyo's public TV screens.
- "He even manipulated the police for this." I like how this is phrased so the cops aren't the villains, and are also victims, even though they have been the most unrepentant assholes ever for the entire story.
- I like how Shido's response to learning Akechi was his son was like "Yeah, I figured it was something like that." Such a good villainous reply.
- "You even killed my father! I will never forgive you!" Unforgiving for the mastermind, but apparently cool with the one who actually pulled the trigger.
- "I'd never accept a leader who makes a teenager murder people!" Ann has very high expectations for the people she votes for.
- I love how Shido's declaration of how he'll fight us results in hundreds of identical Japanese senators rising out of nowhere and clapping for him. I love when Persona does things like this.
- I like how Shido climbs aboard a golden lion made out of the naked bodies of the people who support him. I don't know what his outfit is supposed to be, but that's fine.
- "You lowlifes!" ... Is it lowlifes or lowlives? Email me if you know the answer to this.
- It's unfortunate that Shido doesn't get his own boss music.
- I sure did not remember Shido's second form taking off his clothes and battling us with muscle-building metal things.
- I like Shido well enough, but despite his muscular chest here, he's no Senator Armstrong.
- I like how the scientist Shido talks to is wearing a lab coat, despite it being completely useless in an office, just because he's a scientist.
- I like the idea of trying to kill the Phantom Thieves by temporarily killing Shido, it's a clever concept.
- Nooo Ryuji, how plausible a death scene, I'm sure you're really dead for real.
- Thank God you're alive, Ryuji, you had me completely fooled.
- I see Shido's change of heart takes place immediately when everyone else's took a while to set in if you did it early, that's fine, I accept that.

I think it's because she just spent a while interrogating Joker in that room. Did you talk to Futaba after the plan? She goes over a bunch of stuff, like how Sae seeing Akechi outside the room meant that (Sae's) Cognitive Akechi would also be in the hall so they had to beat him up before the real Akechi saw him or it would give away the plan. It's pretty funny

The final boss of Palace 7 is pretty wild.

Especially the last fraction of Shido's health where he clears the field for only himself versus Joker.

I'm actually in the midst of replaying through the game myself.

My save is right before the beginning of Palace 6 on 10/29.

- After whatever number of years and six total playthroughs of three Persona games (not even counting the spinoffs), I have finally done it. I have FINALLY maxed out all confidants. Did it with 1 day left, though I would've done it with 4 days left except Haru kept not wanting to hang out multiple days in a row. Assuming 5 is really Kasumi's max. Why is it her max? I have no idea, but it better be.
- lol the womanizer Mementos request has the guy with a move that brainwashes only girls.
- Ah, Mara, it's been too long. I can't believe this is still in a series with as much mainstream appeal as Persona. I'd be shocked if he shows up in Persona 6 when it comes out in 2044.
- You know, it makes sense that the lesser criminals the Phantom Thieves target got to the point where they could make public confessions, since they had no one around them who knew what was going on and could stop them (except Okumura lol). But Shido is surrounded by people who know exactly what's happening, and they just let him get on the stage anyway.
- I like the idea of these evil politicians trying to control the world by changing people's hearts. Start with Donald Trump, please. Vladimir Putin after him, and then Xi Jinping. Oh god, this game came out in 2016, and all of those people are still in power, nothing has changed.
- "Do you wanna get married?" "Of course." "Well, that won't happen for a while." Speak for yourself, Yusuke, I've already got a teacher in a French maid dress waiting for me to turn 18.

Blergh, I think the only major achievement standing between me and 100% is defeating the Reaper. How hard is he in this game?

OG P5 had an ailment exploit for Reaper killing that Royal fixed so you have to do it legit

I think the main thing to say is that, counterintuitively, you should let him start the fight by ambushing you

- Kasumi, do not talk about Phantom Thief shit in the middle of the school hallway, Jesus Christ.
- Wasn't the logic of going deeper and deeper into Mementos that the more the public accepts you, the deeper you can go? Because it was established here that the public basically forgot about the Phantom Thieves after Shido oh whatever.
- I like how everyone in LeBlanc watches Morgana while he speaks, including Sojiro, who intently stares at someone who to him just sounds like a regular cat. Can Sae even understand him? I can't remember, she at least went into the Metaverse once.
- Boy oh boy, they must've thought everyone loved "turn all of the tiles blue" puzzles.
- Got to what I think is the final save point before Yaldabaoth and stopped.

Yeah, but I think that was speculation on the party's (mostly Morgana's) part and in effect I think it was less that the public accepted them and more how much they were in the public's thoughts (for instance their approval fucking tanked after Haru's dad died and it was pinned on them - but it made them more (in)famous.)

As for this period in particular, given this is the moment where Yaldabaoth is explicitly exerting its will on things in the leadup to merging the worlds and the public forgetting is artificial in that sense since he's basically forcibly changing the public consciousness to his belief system it might be that it doesn't "count" and the underlying rules are treating them like they would be if not for that manipulation. Or maybe it's part of some sub-clause in whatever bet he had going with Igor that he couldn't completely block off the path and make the game truly impossible to win idk.

Either way though yeah it's not the most consistent thing.

Persona 5 Royal was the only one I've ever maxed out all of the confidants.

I did it in NG+, and there, the player gets a pretty decent amount of extra time to pull it off in, especially since I focused heavily on maxing out the social stats as a main priority for Joker in the first run of the game. This however led to certain days being mostly empty with nothing to do in the beginning of NG+, as Mementos is simply not available for a good chunk of time after conquering Palace 1, and days with confidants are sparse.

In regards to Morgana, after Sojiro learns the truth about Joker going to the Metaverse, Joker should of quickly had Sojiro visit Mementos just long enough so he could understand/speak with Morgana.

The assumption is made that Mementos is relatively safe, so as long as an individual residing in it doesn't explore any further than the starting upper lobby.

Being to the metaverse isn't enough, you need to hear Morgana speak inside the metaverse so you gain the cognition of him being able to talk.

- P5 was my first in the series. It must have been a shock to people who'd played 3 and 4 to see Igor actually interact with the plot and be a vulnerable character, since he's a total outsider to what's going on in the first two games.
- Caroline and Justine do the DBZ fusion dance and become Lavenza. I like how they do it the same way you fuse personas. Lavenza will go on to be more important than the writers intended, since she plays Igor's role in both P5 spinoffs thanks to his VA dying.
- Makoto regains the will of rebellion, and her French maid outfit returns.
- "Joker, where are we?" "Outside of the Velvet Room." I'm just saying, "Velvet Room" with no context sounds like a porn thing.
- Ugh, I didn't realize there was yet more dungeon after Lavenza shows up.

- Alright, got up to just before Yaldabaoth. I will probably do him tomorrow, and then finally I will get to new material. I won't lie -- I've been fast-forwarding any dialogue in a scene that doesn't involve Kasumi or Maruki or that's not obviously new.

- "Shut up and let us destroy you!" Ann Takamaki: Master diplomat
- Mishima convinces Japan to send Goku their energy so he can spirit bomb Frieza. Morgana tells Yuna not to stop, and she dances the sending dance and he turns into pyreflies.
- "Is this what they call Christmas?" Ann Takamaki, 16-year-old on 12/24.
- And then finally, something new happens: Akechi shows up. He says "lmao don't turn yourself in Joker I'll just testify against Shido," as if you need more testimony than Shido's own confession. Joker isn't even particularly surprised to see Akechi, and doesn't bother telling the others.
- Kawakami, did you seriously think you could find a last minute restaurant with Joker on Christmas Eve? ... the secret is to go to a Chinese place. They're by far the most likely to be working.
- "Excuse me, do you have any Christmas cake left?" I know what that double-meaning means in Japan, Kawakami, you can't fool me.
- I know this is the joke everyone makes, but the fact that Kawakami is romanceable in game where Kamoshida exists is just so confusing.
- "I wasn't able to bring a dish." Yusuke, you're a student, an orphan, and an artist. You could only be poorer if you were a drug addict.
- Morgana returns to reality as a cat, permanently. Yay! Now he'll die at like 15.
- "I doubt we'll experience anything similar to this year for quite some time." Don't worry, Yusuke, you've got two more spinoffs coming up once this game is over. Strikers is very similar, but Tactica is a load of crap. You do basically nothing in both games, though.
- Joker wakes up in a dream school dressed in his Velvet Room clothes. It's finally time, we're finally here. It's finally time for new content.
- He's led by a blue butterfly, which I know has some significance in the series that's explained in one of pre-P3 games. The Before Times.
- I don't remember at all promising to go to the shrine with Kasumi on New Year's Day. Did that actually happen? Is the game gaslighting me right now?
- The world gets VHS fuzzy for a second, and then there's a mysterious prettyboy with his own portrait, who has Morgana's fur color for hair and Morgana's eye color. Truly, it is a grand mystery as to who this character might be. Futaba comes in and talks about how totally alive her mother is, and then Joker leaves, wondering where Morgana is.
- What is with anime and pretending kimonos are hot? They're cool and traditional and whatever, but they've never been hot for even one second.
- All of the others show up. "Truly the embodiment of Japanese beauty." Yusuke, isn't Ann half-white? That means that this scene is 1/16th non-Japanese, I'm just saying.
- Makoto mentions her extremely alive family as well, as does Haru and her father. I like how even in this dream world where everyone is happy and their families are extremely alive, Haru doesn't mention her mother. The only thing that changes for Ryuji is that he's on the track team, he doesn't even mention his father being back in his life or anything. That's honestly sad as hell. Yusuke doesn't mention his extremely alive mother, either. Sorry, no woman can survive Ichiryusai "Momslayer" Madarame.
- Ann: "I'll get in touch with Shiho and see if she has any plans!" Joker: "It's like no one's making any sense..." That was the ONE statement that actually did make sense! Why did you write that to come after the only line that made any sense?!
- I have to believe that it's super difficult and annoying to walk around in a kimono and wooden sandals.
- We finally see Kasumi's father, and he's... some guy with 70s hair.
- Her dad tells her to come, and then when he says her name, the game bleeps it out via VHS fuzzing. Kasumi reacts to it, but just ignores it. Dun dun dunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.
- You think I forgot about the girl in the palace from months ago who looked like Kasumi, didn't you? And the dad calling her name getting bleeped out? And how her dad hasn't shown up until now, before this VHS buzzing effect was happening? I'm onto you, game, you can't fool me. There're shenanigans going on with Kasumi's identity for sure.
- The prettyboy who is extremely not Morgana is suddenly sleeping next to Joker. Joker gets up, the prettyboy acts familiar, and then a mysterious woman's voice is heard rom downstairs. Joker goes downstairs and sees Futaba's mom, who is mysteriously not an insane flying sphinx that's outside of melee range and requires a 45 minute boss fight of waiting for the ballistae to reset. And she reveals that the prettyboy is Morgana, oh my goddddddddddddddddddddddd I never saw this coming.
- Then Akechi shows up and says "This is like that one comic where the Scarlet Witch makes a new world where everyone is happy but Wolverine remembers the truth" and Joker says "Wait did Anagram actually read that comic" and Akechi says "No but he read about on TVTropes years ago."
- Akechi says "The writers were surprised by how popular I got, so now we're teaming up" and then Kasumi calls and says "Can I be in the plot too, I've done literally nothing the whole game," and they all meet up in front of the palace they stupidly ignored months ago.
- I like how it took until THIS point for someone to look at the name portion of the palace on the app.
- Opp, the palace entry animation changed.
- Joker says "Hey Akechi you look like Kain from FF4" and he says "Yeah whatever just dress up Kasumi in a French maid outfit, but note on the B8 post that you did notice the Catherine costume they included."

So, you're up to that point, things will get even more interesting from there!

- Akechi says "we NEED a navigator. We NEED one. It's IMPOSSIBLE not to have one. Fuuka, Rise, Futaba, Mitsuru, and Morgana? Commenting during the battle was CRITICAL. We'll survive for now without one, I'll do the battle comments, but we NEED a navigator, it's too important not to have."
- Why exactly did the Velvet Room not show up at the start of the palace? It always does.
- Akechi also says "btw I have a new all-out attack victory screen that's not as good as my old one."
- We see a TV screen of Kasumi's father speaking to someone we can't see in a hospital bed, but they have the same hair color as Kasumi. Truly, I can't guess where this is going. Oh, Kasumi just immediately tells us it's her sister Sumire. But earlier, her father during the VHZ fuzzing called her "-re" and she acted surprised, and she's like "there's something I can't remember, but I feel like I should, and it hurts when I think about it." Well, that mystery was too easily guessed.
- Then we see a girl with Kasumi's exact same hairstyle, but with brown hair, and then she calls Kasumi Sumire. Was I wrong? Was the one in the hospital bed brown-haired?
- They find Maruki inside, what a twist, and he says "lmao Kasumi or should I say SUMIRE here is a recording of your memories of getting your sister killed, then you went crazy and psyched yourself into thinking you were her. But also the video will change from first-person to third-person for no reason at the end, don't ask how that works. Also, notice how my eyes aren't yellow and I'm not dressed like a crazy clown?"
- Honestly, that was revealed WAY faster than I expected, I thought for sure it'd be something revealed toward the end.
- Maruki says "For some reason, I can mix the cognitive and real worlds to make a better world, so you should let me brainwash you into being happy" and Akechi says "No way bro this is like FFTA where everyone wants to stay in the fake reality except Marche and wrong people argue that he's the villain for shutting it down even though only the protagonists were better off, many of the side characters were worse off in the changed world," but Kasumi says "Okay" and Maruki has a minion shoot tentacles at the Japanese schoolgirl to kidnap her.
- "Violence is not really my thing." Don't worry, Maruki. I think the only Palace ruler who was actually good at violence is Kamoshida, even if he just used it to abuse teenagers in volleyball training. - One by one, Joker goes to his friends and says "Your perfect reality doesn't make sense lol." It's like, I don't know, I kind of thought everyone was over these issues by now. Ann already fixed Shiho, Ryuji was already over the track team, Yusuke was already over Madarame and the Sayuri, Futaba was already over her mom... I guess Haru and Makoto weren't completely over their dead dads, and Morgana still wanted to be human, but those were the only ones.
- Imagine if they lose their new realities. Haru, Makoto, and Futaba will each lose a parent, Yusuke will lose his mentor, Morgana will turn into a cat, and Ann and Ryuji... will have her best friend move to another school, and get kicked off the track team?
- All of the party members sans Akechi and Sumire meet up in LeBlanc, and they all say "We are forgetting something important" and then Morgana turns back into a cat.
- Maruki says "I will use tentacles to put Sumire into the crucifix position because that was one of the most memorable scenes in P3."
- Futaba: "Okay guys, leave the navigation to me!" Thank god, we barely made it through that without her.
- "Yoshizawa-san!" Makoto, she's two years younger than you, isn't she a -chan to you?
- You know, I just realized, Maruki should have no idea what Morgana is, right? Or did he handcraft the new reality, and learned that way? Because he is not at all surprised to see a talking cat thing.
- "He's heading there with Akechi-kun?" Makoto, is Akechi really a -kun to you?
- Everyone is like "is it right to stop Maruki oh well let's stop Maruki."
- Lavenza says "yo I'll talk to you guys at school" and everyone is like flabbergasted that she can even do that, even though Joker took out the twins a million times.

New Year's holidays last almost a week in Japan.

So I am not at all an expert on this, but my understanding is that in the case of Yoshizawa... -chan isn't just a default "they're younger than you, use it now" honorific - it implies a closeness that frankly Makoto and Yoshizawa don't have. So -san probably is right as the default/polite honorific.

As for Akechi, -kun would probably be the correct one for a same-age peer like Akechi seeing as their both third years. On top of that, the two do know each other a bit since Akechi worked with Sae for a long time (implied long before the game based on some comments they have with each other early on.) If anything, the bigger argument would be that Akechi's betrayal would cause him to lose any kind of respect but I mean Makoto is generally pretty polite when she's not beating the shit out of shadows so I think it tracks.

But if someone who has a better grasp of Japanese language and etiquette chimes in then throw out everything I said and listen to them instead lol.

I thought -kun implied a level of familiarity they dont have. Like, if Makoto isnt close to Sumire, shes also not close to Akechi, but shes still not calling him -san.

- Sumire gets surrounded by shadows, and her persona doesn't work. Ryuji says he'll save her, and then the shadows politely stand around while she gives a speech about standing on her own, and then the real Kasumi appears in a vision or something and wishes her well. I don't know if you're really abandoning the Kasumi personality if you keep using her haircut, though.
- Most of the characters' personas, I accept that they're rebels in some way. But Cinderella? What, because she goes to the ball when her stepmother didn't want her to?
- "You did it, Oracle-senpai!" Aren't you both first-years?
- Got to the end of the first infiltration of Maruki's Palace, Futaba said to go to Mementos. Spent a shitload of money just buying all of the best equipment for everyone since this is the final dungeon.
- I am thinking that since my characters are now level 80, I will finally try to fight the Reaper, just for the achievement.

I beat him in Strikers!

- Did all of the 'third persona' hangouts, but not Sumire to 10.
- I see Haru's room has one of those grandma glass cabinets where you store fine china.
- Sojiro is clearly in LeBlanc while they're discussing Mementos, right? He's right there. From his perspective, what is going on? Because he doesn't know about Maruki, and thought all of this Phantom Thieves stuff was already resolved.
- There is no way nine people fit comfortably into the Morgana van. Four was already a stretch.
- I just noticed how Ann's third persona, a dominatrix, has a guy on his hands and knees for her to rest a foot on. Pretty good.
- Unexpectedly difficult Mementos request bosses. I still beat them, but the fact that one even mildly inconvienced me was a surprise.
- Okay, so it turns out the Reaper is very easy to defeat when you're level 80.
- I like how when we retract the tendrils in Mementos, Futaba is like "I guess maybe this unblocked a spot in the palace, I dunno." Was I capable of going into the palace up to a certain point until now, and this is juts what she says if you don't?
- I have three achievements left. Discounting the "get all other achievements" one, two are hidden and I assume story things. I'll be very annoyed if I don't get them both automatically.

I'm fairly certain that you're required to get to the point you get blocked at before you get to do free time.
