I haven't won a drawing in the last few years. That's ok though. I just really hope everyone I've ever gifted played and enjoyed the games I sent. If not, well, at least you didn't have to pay for them .

I'm getting kinda annoyed with my recent phone update. It's added extra clicking sounds where I don't want them and I have to swipe down from the left side of the screen if I want my notifications. I guess bonus points that it didn't install games I didn't want like past ones have.

Changes like that should always be opt-in, not forced. Mine had an update last month that auto-installed an AI app. I was able to uninstall it, but I've noticed a much higher battery drain since then, so it might not be completely gone, which pisses me off.

I don't think my phone has gotten that far yet. I still keep swiping down from anywhere like I'm use to.

My phone recently updated the UI and changed just about everything to look and act like the iPhone UI, with no way of reverting back natively. I had to install an app, which ironically is made by the phone manufacturer, to change a few things back, though it's not fully back to the way it was.

If I wanted an iPhone I'd have bloody bought an iPhone!

It is $5, though someone mentioned in one of these topics that you can now send a custom amount. I'm not sure how that works though as I can only see the preset amounts.

I'd be willing to put in a $5 prize if that's cool. My bank went negative this pay period and I had to pull out some savings to cover it. No pity just explaining why it's a low amount.

And, once again, extending the offer of USF4 or GG+r to anyone dipping their toe into the pool of fighting games. Not saying you have to try to learn for pvp, I just think these older titles have a level of refinement that has been trended away from. I want there to be appreciation for that older touch.

Seconding this. Wrath is better by A LOT and it's not a direct sequel so if you don't vibe with Kingmaker, it's not wrong to go into Wrath anyway. Still play Kingmaker tho since I gave it to you, Evening_Dragon lol >_>

I've been convinced to give D&D a chance. I've already got a set of dice on the way, what else should I do to prep?

The last time I played was about 30 years ago. I really got into it when it was known as AD&D 2nd edition. I think they're up to the 5th edition now.

Have you got a group to play with? If you're just playing you shouldn't need anything, other than a little knowledge. The DM should have everything that's required.

I'd start by googling some of the requirements as a player. I'm not sure about these days, but back when I played there was a Players Handbook that basically told the players what they could do, how and when, etc.

That's super okay, you don't need to be good or even want to play against others. There's just a big appeal in the sheer production value dedicated to characters and backgrounds and single player content. ACCEPT FRIEND RE:QUEST

When I was at the height of playing, my dice tin contained about 25 dice.

3x 20 sided
2x 12 sided
4x 10 sided
2x 8 sided
12x 6 sided
4x 4 sided

Speaking of fighting games, you try the free version of GBVSR yet, and any particular characters DLC or otherwise that catch your attention? I might be a little biased since I main him, but definitely try Avatar Belial when he goes free.

Some custom dice look fantastic. I had just normally dice back then, with maybe one or two that were somewhat transparent.

Terumi seems like a cool guy. Just constantly laughing and living his best life. I wanna get at least decent at this man. Doing motion inputs in BlazBlue already feels better than it does in Granblue.
