The activity is not where it was, and won't be, but dead is an early verdict to call, I'd say. Observe contribution hits yesterday:

There are more guides under these with 1 hit and plenty with zero. Those singular hits I accept could be a bot scanning content, but the ones with two digits in daily hits, no way. Clearly that Sid Meier's Pirates guide got a lot more hits in 2004 when the game came out, easily over a thousand daily, but the point is, it's not all gone. So long as it's not, GameFAQs is still fulfilling its primary purpose.
