I wanna replay it to see if this game aged well

The attack animations--as in, the particle effects--were awful in that game. Thunderbolt was just a bunch of sparkles, and Ice Beam was more like an Ice Chunk. The Flying animation for the move Fly was bugged, where Pokemon were often seen standing in the air, some Pokemon didn't even have proper flying animations (Dragonite and Flygon), and when attacking with Fly, Charizard clipped through the floor.

Also tc I thought you meant hurry up with a 3rd one. Not really interested in replaying. But boy did that game seem so "cool" lol with the bike and the double umbreon espeon tag team and the jacket and just the whole aesthetic of the game.

So what you are saying, is it looked amazing compared to modern pokemon games?

I'm still irritated that the third stage rentals had such shitty movesets.

Um... wouldn't this video be way funnier if the premise changed to diglett using dig, and doduo using fly? and they keep missing each other because of said moves, so the battle goes on forever? I think every pokemon trainer has dealt with that frustration so would find it amusing in a relatable sort of way.

I just want it to be compatible with Pokmon Home, but of course even asking for a little effort with Pokmon is asking too much.

i guess they wouldn't want to put in the effort with all the data conversions for it since it's basically for a rental game. At least Champions will be and they're trying to paint it as the next Stadium/Colosseum/Battle Revolution

To be fair, most players will never see the animations for half of the pokemon. The main game is super Johto focused in its pokemon diversity. I bet they polished the animations for those pokemon in particular knowing most players will only see that.

Why are you guys talking about Stadium? Am I going crazy or is that definitely NOT Colosseum?

Honestly, only Battle Revolution has decent attack animations, but because they run up to do it, it takes longer

I wanted Battle Revolution to be Colosseum 3 but nah. The music was great in it tho

I recently replayed both Colosseum and XD.

Honestly, the biggest complaint I have with them is that they're a fucking slog.

Battles just drag on and on and on and on. Whatever your stance is on the models or animations, it takes fucking FOREVER to complete a single turn.

And I have no idea if it's just because the battles take so long, but it takes forever and a day to level up. I know exp splits because of the double lbattles, but good lord it feels like they cranked the exp requirements way, way up.

On an unrelated note, does anyone actually know what the fuck was up with the names, in that game? Nizork? Prazeeb? Gonzap? Rejoob? What drunken AI mess spat these names out? Why is the misspelled Miror B the most sensible one here?

when i bought the gamecube. cant remember too much when i bought certain games but i got colosseum and XD still in my drawer

i bought those games to get unobtainable pokemon.
