Not as funny as I would have liked. Here is something... Humor and Storytelling: A lot of this ties back to the storytelling. If Hulk just went around eating everyone, there wouldn't be much of a team dynamic or tension in the story! The Avengers are all about teamwork and balancing each other's strengths and weaknesses. Hulks role is often to be the unhinged powerhouse, but with enough emotional depth to make him a hero in his own right, rather than just a destructive force.
