We'd probably both just have mental breakdowns at the sight of eachother as now and then are/were the lowest points in my life

18 year old me dies, I was not in shape, where as current me is actually built in comparison.

A somewhat built fit adult man in his early 30s is going to easily deal with some 18 year old child in a direct fight even if the child themselves does cardio. 18 year old me was fat and had barely any muscle development, I doubt I need to go further in explaining how outmatched against present-day me he would be. He doesn't even have the bodyweight advantage, for at least another three months I still have that on top of my muscle development.

Sadly, current me wins despite being in much worse shape. At that age, I was conditioned to not fight back. Plus, I was far too passive to do so anyway. He'd just let me whatever and hope I don't hurt him too bad.

18 year old me fresh out of basic had some great endurance and decent strength. Todays version of me is stronger and bigger, possibly more capable in a fight but endurance is SHIT. I think young me would probably win.

I may have been in better shape at 18. I say maybe because I was far more nimble and agile then, and had more stamina. Now I might be bigger and bulkier, but I also am more vicious and venom filled than I was then so I'd tear 18 year old me apart.

Ive got the size and strength advantage, but hes fucking quick and has stamina for days. If I can take him to the mat, its over, but if he knows about me the way I know about him, hell prevent that and dance around me taking potshots until I get tired and then hes going to fuck me up.

Current me. I didn't start getting in shape/lifting until about 20

This for me. I was never a monster, but at 18 I was in good shape. I played on multiple sports teams and I was in the gym almost every day. Old me has two ACL tears and stayed home from work yesterday because of a bad back.

18 year old me would thrash present me without even really paying attention. My oldest son is about that age, and even when we play basketball I feel like I got hit by a truck afterwards. He plays college lacrosse and has pity on me, and it is still grueling.

18 yr old me was underweight, malnourished and out of shape. It's not really a contest

Me now. I'm bulkier with fat and muscle so I don't really have the stamina or endurance but the strength and power compared to 18 year old me. I'd say I've 4x stronger and he's got no padding.

Physically, I don't think there's a meaningful difference. I'm obviously older and more worn down than I was at 18, but I was never in anything resembling decent shape to begin with, so it's not much of an edge.

Mentally, you're talking about someone who was fully intending to die within months versus someone who's determined to survive even if it kills her. The gulf between our respective wills to live is just too vast to bridge.

18-year-old me probably expects to win. I'll demonstrate just how much difference having a reason to live makes.

If neither of you know how to fight, being bigger and stronger would give you an edge but its hardly conclusive. If you dont know what youre doing, there is significant potential for him to get lucky.

Nah I'd win. 18 year old me has no fighting experience, no bulk and such a short temper that he'd fly off the handle and make all sorts of stupid mistakes. Young me would have more stamina but that's it.

I think my only advantage is that I'm jaded and angry. So if somehow I overcame my fear of hurting my opponent, I might not be as outmatched.

18 OSG would destroy 2025 me. She was athletic and her body had not yet been depleted by chronic illness and other things. Probably has about 25lbs on current me too. Plus I have the flu or somehting atm. Not looking good.

I was in better shape in terms of, like, fewer injuries but I think I was at my heaviest at 18, I wasn't exactly in shape at 260ish.

Now, the fact that this means 18 year old me has a literal 100 pound weight advantage might tip the scales a little, but I could grab him by his terrible fuckin' haircut for I now lack that specific weakness.

I probably take it. I'm heavier and actually know a bit about fighting.

Easily current me I'm about 10 pounds heavier compared to what I was at that age and it's mostly muscle. Currently at 142lbs also I'm twice that age at the moment.

But...

18 yo me vs me a fight I win. I'm stronger (thousands of push-ups over the years) weigh more (I was 125 when I was 18 vs 155 now), and am more experienced in MMA.
Plus, I know what 18 yo me would try to do.

Now, 40 yo me vs. now me would be a much more interesting fight.

18 year old me crushes 49 year old me for the simple fact that my health condition makes me gasp for air and almost pass out just walking across the grocery store. Im at the point where any real exertion like a flight of stairs renders me completely helpless until I recover. Sometimes simply standing on my feet and making a meal in the kitchen makes me dizzy and weak and I need to sit down. I cant even be outside in warm weather without having breathing issues. So 18 year old me would destroy me because I wasnt sick until I was 37.

Now without my health condition holding me back? I honestly think 49 year old me simply for the weight advantage. I think current 250 pound me would beat then 197 pound me. 49 year old me has some training that 18 year old me didnt have yet and even if we are exactly the same skill the extra 50 pounds can be harder to deal with.

18 year old me wins simply because Ive lost a lot of peripheral vision so I wouldnt be able to defend my self properly. I dont know if I am in better shape now or then but being that Im 36 and needed 3 surgeries on my shoulder im confident Im losing.
