The liquid caramel syrup for flavouring coffee works surprisingly well in almond milk. It sure makes one kick ass bowl of cereal though don't think I'd drink the stuff.

2% is the closest, though in the UK we called it "semi-skimmed" and the fat content is more like 1.7%.

Skimmed is what i prefer the taste of now (and coincidentally also the healthiest so why not?) which is 0,1% here.

I don't really like the taste of milk and don't drink it, but if I'm going to use it for something like a sauce, then I'll use the proper stuff and not the watery piss.

I no longer consume dairy but when I did there was only one option. I live in a heavy farm state in farm country. Our stores carried a local dairies milk and you could buy whole creamline milk that is non homogenized. The kind you need to shake up before you drink it because the cream will separate and rise to the top.

It is so good and tasty. And for you non dairy farm people non homogenized does not mean non pasteurized.

Hell yeah. It is the only way to have it once you have been exposed to it. I had it as a young kid and it ruined all other milk compared to that.

Almond or oat milk, usually.

I still eat dairy products, but factory farming in the US is so bad that I've tried to substantially cut back on cow's milk. When I do buy cow's milk, though, I'll get the "cream top" variety from a local farm. It's delicious! I would buy it all the time if it weren't so pricey.
