PerseusRad 07/24/25 3:09:27 PM #1:	I was told to skip any OPs that come from the Vita due to spoilers. Ill say that I already know the basic twist regarding Archer, and something with Sakura that may or may not have been changed, not sure. Some other miscellaneous stuff as well. I read Tsukihime and Kagetsu Tohya before this, though from my understanding the direct connections are pretty limited. I enjoyed the opening with Rin, it actually kinda bothered me when they switched off her POV. It was interesting just how different Sakura came off from her POV compared to Shirous. I dont have much to say except that I hope the Student Council President isnt evil, he seems prickly, but not awful. I did notice though, that Rins opinion on the funding for clubs was contradicted by him, or at least Im fairly certain it was. So its not impossible hes a shady guy. Id had the impression that Lancer immediately left after Saber was summoned, but I suppose not. Quite a lot of lore dumping happened at the church. I got the gist of it, but I wasnt really sure what was up with the Priest in regards to the Holy Grail War. He summoned it, but he had dropped out and there were still others left? Id imagine it has something to do with Rins father, as he also participated, but I guess who knows. On my last post I was on the way home from the church, so then Shirou got nearly killed for the 3rd time (well, I actually got the bad ending at first, I had looked something else up and had the impression I was meant to run when possible). If I'm honest, I've forgotten a lot about what Rin said after the fact, besides that she's teaming up with Shirou and gave him the book. Which is a cool feature, I read through everything that was unlocked. Shirou is a bit of an irritating character around the girls (besides Taiga), compared to Shiki in Tsukihime. But it's very possible this is due to the voice acting. Edit: Oh yeah, Rin mentioned the fact that the Servants are also after the Grail, makes sense, but I'm uncertain if that means they get their own wish, if it's for glory, or what. For some reason Shirou has completely forgotten the reasonable point that he wanted to wait until at least Archer was healed enough before going to the Temple, in favor of the whole shes a woman thing. Its not that I cant understand where hes coming from, but a proper argument is right there. And now we have Illya saying she isnt a magus (I keep thinking the term is magi). Which means so far the only normal magus so far is Rin as far as we know. Havent finished the Illya scene yet, but shes quite open about the location shes staying at. I was gonna be a good boy and just keep training with Rin, but something about that seemed off, so I got the scene where you learn that you apparently arent a magus and have some ancient ability. Saber gets a toy lion before that I believe, and speaks about how shes never been treated as a woman, though obviously Shirou has been doing that the whole time. Shinji turns out to be the one who set the boundary field, or rather, the Servant did. Which makes the whole Chaotic Good thing rather questionable. Its also questionable whether Shinji is even her Master. I was sorta thinking that earlier since I know Sakura has something to do with something, but she might not have anything to do with it. Officially, the first part (Lawful, Neutral, Chaotic) is based on the principles that the Servant considers important. While the second part (Good, Neutral, Evil) is based on their personality. To an extent, it's influenced by how the Servant sees themselves. Different incarnations of the same Heroic Spirit can also have different alignments due to them not manifesting with the exact same personality. Rider has a few alternate versions in Fate/Grand Order, and they range from Neutral Good to Chaotic Evil. All that aside, she does also have to obey her Master to an extent. Archer sacrificed himself, they ran, and had to rejuvenate Saber. I believe I was aware of all this to some degree, through osmosis, if anything. Archer did better than I expected. Rin was pretty clever against Berserker, but she still only got one kill, which just goes to show the level difference. So Im vaguely aware of something else that Shirou does/will do, but I wasnt really aware that hed create a magic sword of his own to the level he did, it was a pretty cool moment. Its mentioned how he should be absolutely screwed up if what hes doing is projection. But since it was mentioned he was doing something else earlier, I suppose Rin might just be lying that thats what it is. I haven't read much since the last post, Shirou took her on a date, and they had a huge argument. Shirou falls under the same trappings as Saber, which is pretty obvious, but he can't accept others doing the same as him. Archer 2 interrupts them on their way home, and that's where I've left off. Also, I completely skipped over the fact Caster got wiped by him earlier, sorry to her. I'd initially been planning on doing all 3 routes back to back, but I've been a bit inconsistent, so it might be good to take a minor break when I finally finish the first route.
