The one state solution will happen one way or another. Either they will "finish the job" as Trump says, or they'll find peace somehow.

There's a reason the job is never finished regardless of how many guardrails Trump lifts. It's not finishable. There is no plausible means to purge or remove 14 million people. There is also no getting rid of half and expecting the rest to accept it. It's an effort in futility. Netanyahu's doing it to entrench his political power, not because any progress will ever stick; he starts wars with other Islamic nations while an endless civil war occurs in his own "territory" because the goal is maintaining the panic culture rather than actually winning anything.

Problem with that being, beyond the implied monstrosity of the whole situation, it's being protected by one of the strongest counties in the world.

Even if that wasn't the case, most of the world appears uninterested in doing anything about it.

The apparent 'plan' seems to be to wait for every last Palestinian to be slaughtered, after which all the fence sitters will pretend to have a soul and weep for the lives they didn't care about until it was too late. wasn't the case, most of the world appears uninterested in doing anything about it.

Even if there were no fence-sitters we'd still be on the same route, because all the prior options have preferred this route. The point is to disrupt until the political powers concede.
