basically, there's this Florida rapper known as "KSoo", who was on trial for a murder (he was found guilty), and he also has another murder trial coming up.

this is some of the tech they used to see if he might have been the shooter for the initial case (there was video, but the killer wore a mask):

the whole thing was crazy in general because iirc, KSoo was in a car with his dad and brother and his brother was shot and killed, and his dad helped him get revenge (I forget in which capacity), but after they were caught, KSoo's dad snitched on him.

Are they saying the small clip matches the still body images above? That doesn't seem really conclusive to me, if anything this technology, at least in this state, will only lead to false detentions.

I think on top of witness testimony, they just wanted to see if it was possible he could have carried out the shooting.

his lawyer was arguing that the shooter was too skinny to be KSoo, and some of the witness testimonies said the shooter was shorter.

Meanwhile this murderer is still never found.
