Republicans will keep crowing about immigration and tax cuts non-stop and, unlike Democrats, when they see themselves losing in the polls they tend to make smart decisions that will turn things around. Interestingly enough, those decisions almost never entail "abandon our values and become more like Democrats" - makes you think.
