Cena really shoulda had a double heel feud with Brock. Him turning face on Smackdown shoulda been a ruse like we thought. It would be more compelling for his feud against Brock to motivate him to become a good guy again

Cena's mid-life crisis apparently came to an end just with like, a stern talking to. That's what's really crazy.

Apparently that's the real goal - stern talking to's #1-33 won't work, but that 34th one will be the charm.

His reign was running out of steam fast and I'm sure WWE saw all the reactions of people getting bored of it. Glad to see he can still go when he wants/needs to tho.

Was expecting Cody to go heel also. Cuz his last run was losing steam also by the end so hopefully they have actual good storylines/feuds for him to go through but...it doesn't look too good atm. Didn't help that his story/feuds came after the multi-year Bloodline storyline that was the best they've had in a good while.

I've got whiplash from how fast Cena changed alignments. I know he's only got so many dates but damn it feels like they rushed him going face.

I was still waiting for some heel Cena shenanigans even after he had some pomp and circumstance to his entrance LOL

Eh. Like I said, it was already running out of steam fast and the fans were letting them know. The whole "I'm the last true champion, I'm going to ruin wrestling" and doing so by wrestling mediocre matches and getting away with lowblows or using weapons was just...how most heels do it lol. In a way it's artsy and in line with John's IRL persona, but to a wider scale audience it wasn't hitting all too well.
