I'm glad that the U.S. isn't giving up on Ukraine anytime soon. A definite engagement where the the U.S. is 100% on the right side of history for opposing Russia's attempt to wipe Ukraine off the map. F*** Putin. As for India, the government has had warm relations with Russia and the USSR before that...since the 1980's at least. Kind of regrettable for the world's largest Democracy to act this way. Trump figured he would sail into office, command the Russians to stop, they would do so, and he would swing by Oslo to collect his "Noble" Peace Prize, which would be bigger and shinier and more important than Obama's. Russia has refused to play ball, which has annoyed Trump and that's literally the only reason he's doing this. And, quite honestly, I'll believe it when I see it. Every time TACO has threatened tariffs against Russia or his allies, he always backs out or extends the deadline. Even now there's word that Russia is proposing an "aerial ceasefire" (i.e. no more drone strikes or airstrikes) as a way to mollify Trump, which a) Is not a ceasefire and b) Would harm Ukraine more than Russia, given that their drones are one of the few areas in which they have a decisive advantage over Russia. Trump's dumb enough to take them up on it too, or at least use it as justification for delaying sanctions. --- Kill 1 man: You are a murderer. Kill 10 men: You are a monster.
