It's pretty good but I didn't think it was great. You could tell like 20 minutes worth of it was left on the cutting room floor, since some scenes flow kinda weirdly, and stuff from the trailers just wasn't there at all. It was fine. Some of the character dynamics felt a little off but in general the 1950s retro futuristic vibe was a nice change of pace from the usual visual style. The only problem is that it was entirely too safe. Characters barely show any injury, probably to avoid a ratings bump, your main villain is given the shallowest of motivations and ultimately the movie once again is about the bad guy trying to get an absurdly powerful macguffin. If this movie came out between Iron Man 1 and 2 or something like that it probably would have been extremely well received but the formula is played out and people are just tired of it at this point. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz.
