I'm not sure what we can do with that graph since it's requiring two things for a positive. Is it bad that less people can afford homes? Yes. Is it bad less people are getting married early? I would say no. Based on that graph I dunno if less people can afford homes, or if they just aren't getting married early anymore.

Obviously we don't need the graph to tell us that people are less able to afford a home, just saying.

I'd like to see separate graphs for homeowners by 30 and married by 30. How much has each declined on its own.

Relatively young marriage and home ownership are major factors that favor having children. American birth rates are already well below replacement rates, so what do you think is going to happen if the trend continues?

Yeah it depends why. Especially for marriage.

People choosing to get married later and focusing on their careers and/or interests isn't a bad thing. Let's not rush anyone into breeding and homemaking, eh?
