Yup. When I was Year 9 (UK) I remember both Thursdays on my lesson timetable sucked. Year 10. The same. Year 11, one was pretty good but the other was shit. Sixth Form both years, full days of lessons. University, usually the most full for lectures. Fast forward 6 years when I became a teacher. I think 6 out of the last 10 years my Thursday timetable has been shocking. Gonna be the same this September too. Fuck Thursdays and anyone who likes them --- I Shot the Sheriff. ... I don't mind Thursday, as long as everyone is on the same page.... we're coasting on Friday. Friday we're coming in late, we're leaving early, we're having a long lunch with drinks. We're only doing "easy work" we don't have to use our brains for, we ain't having any serious meetings (maybe a nice casual meeting where we just shoot the shit). Do not be the asshole who suggests we have an important staff meeting at 4PM Friday! My days off are Monday and Tuesday and 75% of the year since I earn so much time off I have to take Wednesday off too.
