Fathom is putting on an event and airing the original TMNT!

Unfortunately not near my area cause fuck me I guess. T_T

My theater is playing it everyday through the 17-20 and not just the 17th and 20th...which is awesome because I'm definitely going Monday or Tuesday.

Yep, I wish I had time to go. It's legit one of the best movies ever made.

I saw it last night with my friends. It was a fun time. It appears to be the new 4K transfer that Arrow is putting out soon.

There's no trailers but there is a short video at the beginning that shows the unused original ending as part of a pitch for some Backerkit documentary about the film that's 4 hours long. So if you're someone who gets there late because you hate trailers, don't get there late. On the AMC app it actually advertised that it had no trailers which was interesting to see.

Yup, was at the AMC near my home today, and runs through Thursday according to AMC's website.

I'm old so I saw it when it first came out. I remember being so excited for it in the weeks leading up to when it came out or when I went to see it. I remember dreaming about how I predicted the movie would be like. I was used to the cartoon so I though Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady would be in it. I was a little disappointed they weren't

Bares very little resemblance to the 80s cartoon (Splinter is a normal rat mutated into an anthro rat instead of a human mutated into a rat, April O'Neal works at Channel 3 instead of Channel 6, No Rocksteady or Bebop, no Krang, etc)

Then movie April was supposed to be black. She's originally black in the comics. Was race swapped in the cartoon
