A bit repetitive, the leveling is a little complicated, and breaking a weapon is way too punishing. Despite all this, it's still a fun playthrough.

Metal Gear Solid: 2.0

in no hurry to try MGS2 after that one

If you played PSX I feel the gameplay is a lot less frustrating on MGS2.

If your issue isn't with the gameplay nothing for it though.
