Fun game, enjoyed it more than the original

I'll be the weirdo that says I actually liked the original better, even though I acknowledge that Will of the Wisps is functionally superior in just about every way. However, it frustrated me at several points where I was doing what I was supposed to and the game wouldn't let me proceed. Plus, WotW resulted in one of my most harrowing video game experiences of all-time, and I can't excuse it for that.

I played the original a dozen times (okay granted once you know what you're doing a run doesn't take that long) and it's a 10/10 for me. For whatever reason, I didn't really like the sequel. I tend to prefer very simple games so adding a bunch of weapons and skills and sidequests and whatever isn't what I wanted. The game was clearly still just as well-made with environments just as pretty and good platforming, I didn't dislike it, it just didn't hit with me and I don't really know why.

Abstain because I need to replay it one day and see if maybe I just wasn't in the right mood for it when it came out or something, because I feel I should be giving it a 9/10 or 10/10 even though I only had a 6/10 or 7/10 experience with it, so... abstain.
