I did see the trap but thought it was just appetizers in general and not chicken-specific. I didn't know poppers and fritters were generally chicken. Anyway, I figured it was probably a trap and when I started to see the other appendages I knew that's where wing went.

I was going for heating water as well, but when I couldn't see a fourth I saw popper and knew what the category was. Kettle corn. It's a thing and it's arguably better than traditional popcorn.
