apparently the biggest appeal of mashups to me is the novelty and while i don't think this is bad or anything, i think out of everything else left, i don't know if i can handle listening to this 30x times. part of it is that i'm at least already familiar with both songs and there's small aspects that bother me more the more i hear it. like the "producer tag" at the beginning or how the Cleaning Out My Closet verse censors 'fuck'

aw man it only popped into my head just now but the bastille cover of no scrubs would have been a sick song to nominate, that shit's smooth. not a mashup but was reminded for whatever reason

yeap mashups have some of the best initial reactions. usually the 'why does this actually sound good' but in the end, i'd rather listen to both songs individually a good percentage of the time
