I'm so sick of Superman movies CONSTANTLY going back to the same well. As bullshit as the Snyderverse was, it at least TRIED Doomsday and Darkseid. It didn't do any of the requisite writing to EARN Doomsday or Darkseid, but it tried. Give us Braniac. Give us Bizzaro. Hell, give us Mxyzptlk (we conveniently have a very good Mxy story with "Man of Tomorrow" in the name to draw from). It does seem like the movie will still feature Superman as a major character, however people are now speculating that this isn't a Superman sequel because Lex will actually be the main character and he'll form a temporary alliance with Superman. If that's the case, the main villain might actually be someone else.
