When I count votes, I usually shorten them to catalogue faster. This usually works fine, but I shortened "official UK Playstation," "official US Playstation," and "Play Meter" all as "Play" and nearly combined them all.

Unusual is typically due to color. Most video games of a console or handheld had a certain color to them and anything that bucks that trend would count.

Games need to be externalized to some degree, but also be interchangable. Digital-based games or arcade machines would not count.

Special editions or limited time editions count, so long as they can play.

The rules say that unusually shaped cartridges qualify, but the title seems to imply that we should only look at colors. Can we get clarification on this? If it's only color that matters, S&K shouldn't be eligible here.

And I agree with the "whole series should count" for LoZ, between the shiny gold NES carts, the muted gold N64 ones, and the GBC Oracles games (and a lot of GBC in general) being translucent.

Honorable mention for Pokemon Pinball having the black cartridge with a protruding battery pack.

GBC being translucent green is the standard color for that console, so those wouldn't apply.

Replace Sonic & Knuckles with Pokmon Red/Blue.

Yellow really isn't that special when the Donkey Kong Land games already had that color cartridges. But I guess Red/Blue are just too iconic.

Pokemon RSE - Yeah SFF with the rest of them but I'm picking this because on the whole GBA had fewer colored carts than GB, so colored GBA carts stand out more in comparison

yeah probably my 5th choice

I actually did forget that DKL was also yellow. So maybe I liked it because the series had an established tradition of being yellow across multiple games.
