Ryven 09/09/25 7:39:54 PM #1:	Nothing against the actor but Pete adds almost nothing to the show. Clark not being able to tell Lana his secret is annoying - she's easily the least judgmental character in the entire show. And these situations he gets himself in where he can't explain to Lana what actually happened so she shuns him and thinks he's a dick because of it - and this has happened so many times so far - AARRRRGGH. LIKE JUST FUCKING TELL HER. And then the episode where him and Chloe make out in the Talon, Lana's heart is broken, she's furious at Clark and.......the next episode, it's almost like it didn't happen. I didn't like Michael Rosenbaum as Lex at first - but he's really grown on me. But there have been a few times where i think, Lex can't really be this stupid about Clark, can he? Smallville is a really messed up town - teenagers die constantly lol I'm sad that Allison Mack is such a terrible person - she brings a great energy to the show What season does Lois come in? No spoilers please They make it seem like Metropolis is a short drive away from Smallville for how much people visit - but Smallville is in Kansas, far away from any ocean. Interesting. You can spoil this for me but without any specifics or who - does any of Superman's villains make an appearance in the show? Or Jimmy? This is an odd question but.....is there any point where episodes are in the wintertime? Despite all these quibbles, i'm enjoying it more than i thought i would. I was told it was dated, and of it's time, but i still like it. I'm wondering what the show can entail with 8 more seasons. --- 'We're not gonna make it, are we? People i mean.' Im ob a Smallville rewatch and doing the podcast at the same time. Havent seen Smallville since it aired. Its a fun show honestly with its ups and downs. Im on s7 and s6 of the podcast. They are currently doing s7 of the podcast. Get off waiting tables, do a Walmart run at midnight, get a new season of Smallville, finish that season, and repeat. I liked the show but the whole monster of the week thing got old. They did move away from that though. There's this one scene that lives rent free in my head of someone, walking along holding a boombox like it's 1990, blasting some cheesey song. I cringed. Superman can obviously make the trip quickly regardless of distance, but if they need the rest of the cast making regular trips to Metropolis it's easier to just kinda place it reasonably nearby. This isn't without precedent.
