I recall a heated debate about that subject happening on the 261 the night before it got shut down.

Probably not the specific cause (I'm not sure that's ever been stated) but it makes me weary to bring it up on GameFAQs again.

No one talks about it because it's only used as a right-wing psyop. "Oh, I thought you were tolerant."
It was literally solved in the same paper it was presented in 1945: Don't tolerate intolerance. The only debate is over the degree of intolerance that should be tolerated and the actions against it.

Probably not, I still blame SocialMedia dude threatening fandom as the most probable cause at the end of the day.

The timing really did make it feel like the last straw though.

The idea that bigoted opinions shouldn't be treated with the same respect as other viewpoints seemed rustle more jimmies than it usually did.
