I got the "Almost there" prompt on both medium and hard today after placing everything because I had a single domino flipped the wrong way from what I meant. At least I didn't get other dominoes wrong from those mistakes. I guess the more I do these and the faster I try to go, I need to try to watch my execution.

I feel like playing hexcells really helped me with the hard one, I'm very used to doing process of elimination, so being able to pick out that there was only one 6, one blank, and one double 4 meant all the rest could just go wherever. I had 2 options for the 1 pip on the right but got lucky

I've been doing all of the Pips since they added the category, but didn't realize we had a topic for it. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. Some days it feels like there are too many easily identifiable forced moves and other days the board is so large that it feels like you have to guess and check on a handful of different coin flips.

The solutions aren't unique. So guessing isn't as bad as it sounds. Today's hard mode is a great example of that: At least a group of 3 of the 0 dominoes are interchangeable with each other and the other 2 with each other.
