Really, having extra rest does ultimately help more than it hurts, and most of these ballplayers at this point have had a very long season, and are banged up from getting hit by pitches and fouling off pitches that hit them. Shame when the Phillies batters decide to flip a switch and collectively suck at the plate. Happens too often. Still time to turn it around, and they'd need to lose a couple games to clinch the series on their home turf. Really hope MLB.tv changes how they handle teams' radio broadcasts. For some reason, they're tied to the video broadcasts so that when the video feed goes to a commercial break and MLB injects their own commercials, it cuts off the radio feed for the commercials as well. During the regular season, it would cut out pre and post game shows mid-sentence. The Phillies radio post-game would usually finish before the TV post-game did, so you'd hear the entire show aside from the commercial injections. But for national broadcasts, like ESPN, Apple and playoff games, when the TV game broadcast ends, it ends the team radio broadcast entirely. ... Copied to Clipboard!
