I shredded all the expert battles with at least 2 missions completed on each. Got the gold Flame Patch, immersive Blaziken and Altaria, and full art Absol Ex as the only 2-star or higher cards. Okay I might have been wrong about this, yesterday's big tournament had 3 Blaziken/Entei in top 10. Absol/Pom-pom bird and Altaria/Jirachi also had good showings as expected. I think these 3 decks are the tops. I'm hoping people figure out a better way to play Gyarados, but as it stands it's a very 50/50 deck.
