The lack of customizable controls (Without rebinding your entire system, anyway) put me off using the Switch's N64 emulator, but maybe I'll give it another try. It's been such a long time since I played Yoshi's Story, might as well give it another chance.

Also I just realized I have access to costume quest 2 so I'll play that before the month is up.

I don't think I will finish FFT on time. Will probably beat multiple of the new things though.

Yay! I've been looking for an excuse to play it. I might also play Yoshi's Story again, it's been a long time. Come to think of it, I have a cd for loom too.. got it around the same time as Monkey Island but never played it for some reason.. perhaps I could give it a shot.

Beat Final Fantasy Tactics on Tactician.

Started up Paper Mario today too, although I just made it through the prologue so far.

It was okay. I found the discussions on writing style and interpretations on written works kind of interesting, but I wasn't interested in much else.

My ending resulted in Sayori commiting suicide, which while I did see it coming, the atmosphere, art, and "camera angle" for lack of a better word were effective. Given Yuri's affinity for knives, I can guess where that route might end (It seemed like that was the ending I was going to get given how much more screen time she had in my time). I spent too little time with Natsuki to guess what awaits with her, and Monika is obviously an/the antagonist. I was planning on maybe getting a few more endings since I had several save files from what seemed like major choices, but the game did some weird stuff and deleted my saves, so I guess they didn't want you to do it that way. I went through a couple of the side stories in the Plus version too.

I'm not sure you beat the game. The "ending" you described is a plot point like, halfway through the game that happens no matter what you choose to do up to that point.

Your saves were supposed to be deleted at that point. You're supposed to start a new save now. You'll.. see.

Yep, this ^^^. Keep going. You'll know when you've reached the "real" end point. (FYI, it goes faster and you can skip a lot of the dialogue if you so choose.)

jfc my <5 hour speedrun sure was nearly 10 hours. suffice to say i did not get the achievement, but at least i finished it in october

They added customizable controls a couple months ago I think.

Ah, I knew I forgot to do something. I will hopefully remember to make the new topic before I go to bed in a few hours.
