I don't know what Microsoft is planning on doing, but I really hope they get their shit together with how much IP they have scooped up at this point.

Every publisher has a few stinkers but not every publisher fails to release games at the rate that Microsoft manages.

It wouldn't be such a problem if Microsoft didn't own such a huge number of IP.

I'm pretty convinced that it's a management issue and that Microsoft could fix it if they actually cared to but they are so focused on stuff like LLM development that their gaming department is just an afterthought.

You can act like Sony releasing a stinker is the same as Microsoft being an IP graveyard but you're pretty alone in that opinion.

Microsoft needs to sort out their shit and fast. They hold some of the best IP in the industry and they do absolutely nothing with them. Hell I complain about this with Sony as well but they're nowhere near as bad as Microsoft when it comes to this.

Personally I want Sony and Microsoft to both be pumping out awesome games from IPs I love, that's the ideal situation in my books but of course that's because I'm not a fanboy.
