It sounds like hes not someone who appeals to a broader audience. And there are so many eyes on the Super Bowl a lot of young, impressionable children. And, in my view, you would have Lee Greenwood, or role models, doing that. Not somebody like this."

There are 600 million Spanish speakers in the world. 57 mil of them are in the US. And then there are millions of people who might not know Spanish but still enjoy Spanish music.

I don't know how many people (most of them MAGA trash) care about Lee Greenwood and his one song, but I doubt it's anywhere near those numbers. Even the non-MAGA people who like his song only listen to it on July 4th, lol.

Dude. I fucking LOVE Prince, and his Superbowl show was one of the best ever. But it was decades after his peak in popularity. Sure, he had a large and devoted fanbase who went to his shows (including me), and (although I mistakenly thought they didn't chart), his albums were still doing well. But I still think he was kind of a legacy act. He was generally seen as past his prime.

Generally if you're doing the Super Bowl you either need to be still hugely popular or a legacy act that has established itself as one of the undisputed all-time greats.
