Or, if you don't believe in anything woo-woo, what's the woo-woo thing that you're closest to believing in (e.g. maybe you absolutely don't believe in astrology but could see yourself maybe entertaining the idea of Bigfoot.)?

adjective

relating to or holding unconventional beliefs regarded as having little or no scientific basis, especially those relating to spirituality, mysticism, or alternative medicine.

The whole united conscious or whatever. Basically, we're all somehow connected, which is why when you might be thinking of someone from a long time ago, youll gwt a phone call, text message, or friend recommendation from that person.

My dad hung on to his life basically just long enough to see my sister wed. Years later, I was listening to a talk by a rabbi and he was describing this as a common phenomenon-- people holding on in their old age past when they seemingly were meant to in order to see a child reach some certain milestone or some such.

Anyway, not sure how much that relates to what you're talking about but your comment brought that to my mind.

I guess MBTI, which does have a fair bit in common with astrology. Mostly I just find it a fun game to try and peg people or characters as one type or another. Also, my mom is really into it and its fun talking to her about it. She's also into actual astrology, but I find that much less interesting.

That you can influence luck by trivial ritual. I mean, I don't believe it really, but I'll still try it.

I've read some discussions about various personality types from that online and I can definitely see how it's interesting to talk about!
