This should be lawsuit worthy tbh. And we should respond by making AI videos of Trump saying he killed Epstein so he wouldn't expose their secrets.

What's the deep fake part? The video put to him saying it? Or did he never actually say that to begin with?

Successfully suing someone over defamation of a public official is an extremely high bar. There are a lot of defences that the GOP could use to try and defend this - protected political speech and obvious satire are the two that immediately come to mind - and that disclaimer that it's an AI video is probably enough to push them into the clear.

The MAGA base largely consists of people with little to no tech or media literacy so they're easy to brainwash. Why do you think so many of them were able to be radicalized off nondescript Facebook groups ran by Russian bots?

Giving the lowest common denominator unfettered internet access is like unpacking and opening up the Nuclear Football and putting it right in front of a bunch of children. They have no concept of what they're looking at but if they interact with it for enough time they'll figure out how to irreversibly destroy everything.
