You shouldn't have to. Turning off adblocker defeats the entire purpose of adblocker.

The moment any site forces me to turn off adblock in order to use it, I'm done using it.

I understand a lot of sites need ads to function.

Unfortunately, ad-providers cannot be trusted at all. They can even try to inject malware into your system.

Because of that, my adblock stays on at all times.

I'll never forget watching my mom get a virus from Facebook ads, in real time. Without clicking any downloads.

Even if ads weren't absolutely fucking brutal war crime level murder on my ADHD, that one experience alone is enough to make me never want to fuck with ads.

As long as the ads aren't intrusive or filled with malware, I have no issues with them. That's the reason I use it when I'm on gamefaqs.

though I do turn my adblocker off for a couple sites, generally after they ask nicely about it (no website restriction etc.) and finding out the ads they allow are incredibly non-intrusive
