Unsuprised_Pika 10/25/25 5:44:18 PM #13:	Trying to transfer a prescription because my insurance randomly isn't playing nice with my usual pharmacy. Their godawful answering thing doesn't even give the option to talk to a person(also what sick fuck uses voice recognition software over "press 1 to do thing" style answering so you can memorize and mash through) and ignored my message I left well over 24 hours ago inquiring about transfering. Haven't done shit on my online transfer request I put in after hours of being ignored either. Also had the worst fuckin time back when insurance made me go to CVS for a flu shot. My teens prescription is tied to my husbands phone number so even though I know the prescription number I cannot refill it using my phone. If your insurance has CVS down as your main pharmacy, for example, they give you only so many "emergency fills" at different pharmacies before they basically just lock down and don't pay for anything at all until you call them up and get it situated. That then means that the next time you get it filled at CVS, the insurance is probably going to give them hell and deny the claim after it's filled. Insurance only lets you pick up at one main pharmacy, and you have to change what that pharmacy is with them, outside of a limited amount of "emergency fills" that they'll cover if, like in your case, the pharmacy is out of the medication. The staff all remember who I am and will get transfers or fills taken care of for me immediately while I wait. My old Walgreens was so slow that I would spend at least 30 minutes waiting in line before I even talked to anyone. I used them for ten years and maybe one person would remember me. And the aisles actually have most everything unlocked, instead of having to find a staff member to buy anything at all. Going to CVS is the only time I ever go to Target nowadays.
