FF7 is, and will always be, Square's golden child.

agreed the 7 remake is terrible IMO

the game play is bad

and the story is just bloated with no justification to be so bloated (and is suspect part 3 will end up feeling rushed)

Honestly it'd be interesting if they did a 2 part remake with WoB and WoR being the two halves. The WoR could use expanding upon anyway imo

yes the WoR could use expansion but not a full games worth

TBH, I think FF7 is overrated. 6 and 9 are better.

It would be cool if 6 got a remake that let 80-90% of the party continue to develop as characters and remain relevant to the plot after they're recruited

From a purely story-based standpoint there's absolutely no reason that somebody like Gau couldn't have just been an NPC, especially when an actual relevant character like Banon just disappears entirely

God I would love to see cyan get a FF7 remake and rebirth gameplay style do-over with his samurai abilities.

It doesnt need one. Or at least not on the same level as FF7.

Honestly I'd love a FF7R-style remake of FF6.
Huge and fun world to explore, and flesh out its many characters more.

Then again I actually *like* FF7R, which is apparently the minority in this topic.

FFVIR having E33-like gameplay, there's an idea...

i'd rather it be 3d but still kept the combat the same. just make everything look absolutely beautiful. i still never played the FF7R besides for the demo. haven't really been interested.

FF6 Returners Goes to the finale, but the structure is open like BotW aka you can head right to Kefka, or you can go searching for friends, building the last bit of the story
