Nah, fam. I'll allow you to have your own opinion, but the book actually makes a coherent plot, while the movie is just a bunch of random stuff that happens/kinda happens.
As for better?
I gotta give No Country For Old Men some love. Maybe it's because I saw the movie first, but the book was nothing special. The movie captured the tone so well. I loved the bleak/no soundtrack feel it had.
