9 chapters left in Death Masks and they still havent addressed the initial plot point. No idea how theyre going to tie the shroud into the duel.

Death Masks is the one where
the Deniarians, who are fallen angels bound to silver coins, chase down the Shroud of Turin, attempting to kill Harry in the process. In a different plot thread, the vampire that took down the Russian stronghold challenges Harry to a duel, hoping to end the war with Harrys death. I finished the book this morning at work and it turns out the plot threads never cross. The duel ends with the vampire cheating, then Harry hunts down the shroud after during the climax.Started Bloor Rites on the drive home.
