Its been a bit of a binge. I have the whole series on my Kindle and the accompanying Audible audiobooks. Ive made it through 4 books in roughly a week and a half. I have a pretty long commute to work so that definitely helps.

I basically do library tech support and data analysis so I get to listen a decent bit while working too; on the more monotonous stuff anyway. I find it difficult to focus on an audiobook when more thought is required in my work.

I equate them to the paperbacks he has stacked in his office, or Marvel movies. Theyre easy enough to work through while being really entertaining. And its fun to try to solve the mysteries alongside him.

So jelly you get to read them for the first time.

I'm about to re-read the whole series except the first book (tried but I have read the first one too many times) again before reading the newest one (Even if it's only a short story).

Trying to finish this other dresden like series first, but may give up soon. Alex Verus Series or something like that. I'm on book....3 I think, but It hasn't grabbed me so I have been reading the same book for a few weeks now.

Death Masks is the one where the Deniarians, who are fallen angels bound to silver coins, chase down the Shroud of Turin, attempting to kill Harry in the process. In a different plot thread, the vampire that took down the Russian stronghold challenges Harry to a duel, hoping to end the war with Harrys death. I finished the book this morning at work and it turns out the plot threads never cross. The duel ends with the vampire cheating, then Harry hunts down the shroud after during the climax.

Started Bloor Rites on the drive home.
