Sup ya'll, so I've been signing up for FAFSA (Yeah I know I have 8 days left, I just decided last minute I want to go back to school and just got accepted) and I'm trying to do the IRS Link, but no matter what I input it tells me to try again. FAFSA wants my 2018 AGI from my 1040 which I don't have, it was lost in a flood and TurboTax doesn't seem to have it. This is all a mess as you can see. So I tried to sign up for IRS's online transcript and it wants a Student Loan Account Number (which I do have from my last student loans the first time I tried to go to school) but none of those are working.
Does anyone else have any advice for this from filling out FAFSA?
- trying to get my 2018 AGI for FAFSA, don't have my 1040 and I can't make an online account with my student loan account number which is allegedly invalid
- FAFSA's TAX link says all of the information I'm putting in is incorrect. I've found from research that people say it's very fickle
- I'd manually input my 2018 AGI but I don't have the exact number. Does anyone think putting my 2019 AGI (which I DO have) is a terrible idea, despite making the same amount and paying the same amount basically?
