Biden is one of the least popular presidents ever. Kamala didn't distant herself from him and instead ran a campaign on just continuing the status quo. Even when asked if there's anything she would do differently than Biden, she said no.
Naturally people who were against Biden (for many reasons including genocide) are against Kamala.
