Are you able to get around it when watching on TV? I was once interested in PiHole years ago until I found out it doesn't help against YouTube ads on TV.
I havent tried it, but I doubt it would work. I run a PiHole, but the way it works is by recognizing the hostname of an ad network / service and sending it to 0.0.0.0. Its basically a DNS black hole for ads.
The reason it doesnt work for video ads is because as long as the ads are being served from the same network interface the video is, it cant black hole the ads without blackholing the video too.
