Would he take over as Roland or Evan?
Man is inept as a leader, so either role wouldn't work out well. He'd probably get executed in Ding Dong Dell because I can't see him being stealthy or going through sewers. He'd probably loudly refuse to leave the castle and then get killed by the mice.
