The Contact is Fei and all of his previous incarnation. The first was a boy named Abel because he was the first to be contacted and used by The Wave Existence to do his bidding against Deus and his entrapFrank.
I never got that part that The Wave Existence used Abel in his fight against the Deus System. But that would totally make sense, in that it also created Ely not just to provide Abel companionship, but an ally to fight Deus.
