You're kidding yourself if you think they'll grumble and give them up. You could remove alcohol and marijuana from the US easier than guns.
Then they will commit a crime, become a criminal and have their guns taken away. Sorry but "if you try to take my guns away I will do something to get arrested." Isn't a good answer. It is a dumb one.
I am pro-second amendment and am a proud gun owner. But we need better regulations, we need to make it a right AND a privilege and punish irresponsible gun ownership.
