It not being on PS4 or Switch 1 cut it sales way down more than anything. (Yes, I know that those couldn't run it, but this is true. PC and XBOX were never, ever going to be the sales savior of these games.)
Remake sold more than a million copies on PC despite not being released until a year+ later. It absolutely would have done a lot better if it wouldn't have been a Sony exclusive.
