I worked at a place that didn't allow visible tattoos, "unnatural" hair color, facial piercings, etc. until one day you could suddenly "be yourself" at work.
Suddenly on the front page of the website there was a photo with a giant neck tattoo having what looked like an hourly supervisor employee pointing at something with his head turned at an entirely unnecessary angle that made it look like they were showing it's ok to have tattoos now.
