So let me say it in a less ridiculous way: I don't think anyone should be arrested for most things. It is frankly, absurd. We all know that we shouldn't use the death penalty for anything other then offenses that result in death but we don't apply the same logic to the rest of the system. Add on that the being arrested can often derail and low key ruin your life for even minor offenses, the idea of arresting and detaining people is just cruel unless what they did matches the same severity of what the state does to them.
