and watching someones face explode into nothing but a hole in his head is pretty crazy as well.

Too many pets. I'm tired of it... I'm tired of outliving loved ones at all (but I'm not gonna give up the pets I still have just because of that)

I can sort of see how the poll could be somewhat misleading, but I also think people's extreme lack of comprehension is at play. Oh well, live and learn, next time I'll include a more specific poll that includes options for just plants, movie deaths, and cartoon characters as well.

I've never seen a person die, and although I comforted my cat as it was put to sleep, I had my eyes closed. I have seen animals in the wild die, however.

Only my dog and some motorcycle rider dying on the street before the ambulance arrived,though I only learned that he died at that point much later.

My dad died of cancer years ago. All his children were with him. In his final moments I noticed my mom was gone. I found her alone and crying in a small waiting room. She said "I can't watch John die". I sat with her.

I was told my daughter was going to die and we were told we could go see/sit with her. She is still here and doing well other than slight visual and balance problems. She cannot walk well.

One of our dogs that we had to put to sleep.
Just as he got the shot I put my hand on him and I felt his pulse getting weaker and weaker until it stopped completely.
When he was gone it started to rain which was kinda fitting I guess(we did it outside in the trunk of our car).

I just hope he was really happy before he passed away because the whole family gave him lots of the things he loved to eat such as dogtreats and hotdogs.

No, but but I did pass by the police putting someone in a body bag once. It was on the interstate and they were on the opposite side. From what I heard afterwards, it was a suicide, supposedly he shot himself but survived, then ran into traffic hoping to be hit by someone. Or maybe that was just complete bull, idk really, but that's what people were saying happened.

I've seen two people die from gunshots, one from being stabbed multiple times.

I've watched seven deer and one mouse die from my arrows. In the near future I will watch an elk die the same way.

I've only seen a few people pass.

Not directly, but both my grandmother and uncle died about an hour after last saw them. It is kind of odd how people talk about "last words before someone dies", both of them were so weak from fighting for life that the only way you knew they were still alive was their breathing. Other then that they weren't moving or speaking at all.
I am a senior software engineer. If you see me post here, I am tired of writing TPS reports.

Me too, but I haven't seen a person die yet.

It's still emotional pain to the point where you feel it physically.
