Samezies, pretty easy, they just pulled them out, top ones.

how come you didn't have your bottom ones removed?

All 4 of them, they were coming in sideways so they had to go.

They also were a real pain to get out, had to be split into 1/3rds and extracted. Tons of blood and swelling.

Those ones are fine, the top two cracked, plus the bottoms ones will have to be a surgery and that's a bitch, so i'll just roll the dice on them.

Yes; had all four removed, all surgically, at 21YO.

Nope, just Novocaine.

If I could do it again though I would have gotten knocked out though.

No. I still have all four of them.

I did.

My mom hid the Hydrocodon because she was worried I'd get addicted to it. She would bring them up for the typical one every six hour dosage for a day or two (which only ended up being like 6 pills in total) and "hid" the rest in an easily accessible cabinet. I ended up switching out the rest of the Ibyprofen they gave me with the rest of the Hydros and sold them around my college campus.

EDIT: Oh yeah I guess I should probably talk about the surgery itself

The procedure itself was a breeze. They stuck an IV in (which I hated because I hate needles), but literally 10 seconds passed and I remember waking up and the nurse saying "all done!"

As darkknight said though the worst part is the fallout. It really doesn't hurt much. Mainly just some dull soreness for a few days and having to keep the gauze in to stop the bleeding. I didn't get a dry socket, but I heard those hurt like shit.

Yes. One got hauled out, the other three were surgically removed.

All in all it was actually pretty painless. I was expecting a lot worse based on what everyone told me. I felt zero pain from either of them and really the only downside was that my gums oozed blood for close to three days on both occasions, so I constantly had the taste of blood in my mouth.

Did you have your wisdom teeth removed?

Yes, all five of them (I had one extra, it's a thing that happens sometimes).

If I remember correctly one was fully impacted and another was semi-impacted, and while none of them were explicitly giving me trouble per-se, my dentist mentioned that the extra molar was causing problems with the one it was next to and would probably become a major issue eventually, so I should get it removed before it became a huge deal. And that, if I was going to have surgery anyway, I should just have the other molars removed as well to prevent potential future problems.

So I did.

I have 3 that haven't come in yet. My dentist said it's risky to get them taken out since they're close to a nerve so as long as they're not bothering me I'll let them be.

Same here. I was in more pain as they were coming in than after removal.
Nah, I still have them. The thing is that I still only have 28 teeth after they grew in. Somehow I'm naturally short a few teeth, so I guess they had plenty of room to come in without causing any problems.

Had 3 removed, fourth one never formed.

It was done in 2 separate procedures - the two on my right side were removed 3 days before my 21st birthday, the other one (top left) was removed about 1.5 years later. In both cases, I opted for complete KO.

My wisdom teeth actually don't even exist. Not only did they not come in, but they're not even under the gums. They're just not there. None of them.

Technically, that makes me more highly evolved than any of you.

Yeah, same with me (but I can't remember if there was pain during the procedure). Drooled saliva and blood a lot when I had my wisdom teeth pulled out for the first week. Couldn't eat any solid food in those days and eating liquid food, just made me taste my blood along with them. :(
